Welcome to my official website KrisTravis.Com! I'm so excited to be able to have my own website where I can share my thoughts and stories with you as I come back into wrestling after kicking cancer's ass! You have all been amazing in your support, so this is my way of documenting my comeback as well as showing you some of the many highlights I've had during my time in wrestling. I hope you like what you see so far, but I've got much more coming your way on the site. Thank you for visiting! Kris =) x
Meet Kris
Birthday: December 16th 1983

In-Ring Debut: 2002

A 13 year veteran of the squared circle, Kris Travis is a true student of the game, with an unwaivering love and passion for wrestling. Growing up idolising Hulk Hogan & Bret "The Hitman" Hart, the wrestling bug led to Kris pursuing a career in the ring. During this time, he's proved himself both as a solo competitor and as a tag team wrestler alongside Martin Kirby and Scotty Hexx.

Please take the time to visit Cancer Research & Weston Park Hospital's websites and donate to help cure cancer once and for all.

t’s been over a year since we last saw Kris Travis in a PROGRESS ring… but having battled and – touch wood – defeated stomach cancer, we know he can’t wait to get back in front of the Electric Ballroom fans (not to mention teaming up with Martin Kirby once again a week later at ‪#‎ENDVR‬!).

BUT – he faces a huge test, coming up against one of the UK’s very best in Marty Scurll.

Scurll is arguably the ‘nearly man’ of PROGRESS – having come up just short in 2 consecutive ‪#‎Thunderbastard‬ matches, ‪#‎SSS16‬ semi-finalist, beaten challenger at our second ever show back in 2012, beaten challenger at our anniversary show in 2013, various other Number One Contender opportunities – but coming off his debut showing in the Battle of Los Angeles, this represents another chance for ‘The Villain’ to press his claims for a shot at Will Ospreay’s PROGRESS title.

TRAVIS vs SCURLL on 6th September!

‪#‎SitDownGun‬ is long-since sold out, but you can find any available returns at progresswrestling.twickets.co.uk (and set up alerts for when new returns get listed).

Kris Travis is one of the best wrestlers in the UK. If not the world. He’s been in the ring with some of the biggest household names in the sport including WWE superstars Kevin Owens and Finn Balor. He’s had worldwide acclaim from the likes of Chris Masters & MVP.

But Kris’ biggest battle came from outside of the squared circle when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer after months of feeling unwell last year. Resigned to doctors predictions that he would never wrestle again after having most of his stomach removed, he focussed on the much bigger battle at hand of surviving and beating the disease.
“It took around 7 visits to doctors before my disease was finally found. They put a camera down my throat, and that was when they found the tumour.” said Travis, 31.

The professional wrestling world came together to support the superstar, who was forced to pull out of his opportunity with TNA Wrestling as part of British Bootcamp 2. Shows up and down the country were organised, with wrestlers working for free, special merchandise and DVDs being produced and fans donating money with all proceedings being donated to Kris’ cause.

He told us: “I can’t thank those people enough for what they did for me. The fans, the wrestlers, the promoters. In wrestling you’re often forgotten about very quickly, and life moves on. But nobody forgot about me. They supported me and I just can’t express in words how much that means” – Read The Full Article Here.
